Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation – and Seed Interactive have announced that StarBlox Inc. will release on Nintendo Switch this month.

This puzzler and brawler mash-up will challenge you to deliver cargo to the far corners of the solar system.

Whether that be in the single-player Career mode or against up to four players in the local competitive multiplayer modes, each planet, moon, and asteroid that you encounter will present new challenges.

The shipping world is fierce, as an opponent can sabotage your efforts by stealing blocks, delivering punches, or throwing someone in the incinerator.

You will also be able to unlock 72 photobook entries about the planets, moons, and asteroids that appear in the game, with images provided by NASA.

“As science communicators, Ingenium is proud to create digital experiences that reach beyond the four walls of our Museums,” explains Ingenium president and CEO Christina Tessier.

“This latest foray into the world of gaming is just one of the many ways in which we are leveraging our world-class collection and team of experts to engage people regardless of where they are – nationally and internationally.”

Seed Interactive founder and COO Aaron McLean adds: “Seed Interactive creates entertainment with a purpose. As digital innovators we utilize games and interactive technologies to create exciting and accessible education, health and wellness and entertainment products.”

YCJY Games has announced that Sea Salt will release on Nintendo Switch next week, a dark fantasy reverse-horror action-strategy game.

As the old God Dagon, the eldritch force of the sea, you must collect, summon, and control unfathomable horrors to punish those that dare defy your will.

Free Resident Evil 5 And 6 Demos Now Available On Nintendo Switch

Resident Evil 6 Screenshot

Capcom has announced that free Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 demos are now available on Nintendo Switch.

While “certain game features are limited in the demo,” you will be able to carry over the save data to the full game.

However, there is a limit to how much you can carry over weapons, items, and money. In Resident Evil 5, for example, that limit is three weapons per type, 100 ammo per type, five items, and up to 10,000 money.

Resident Evil 5

While the Umbrella Corporation and its crop of lethal viruses have been destroyed and contained, a more dangerous threat has emerged. Somewhere in Africa, innocent villagers are transforming into aggressive and disturbing creatures.

Featuring online and couch co-op, players can experience this Resident Evil classic as either Chris Redfield or his partner, Sheva Alomar, as the duo work together to investigate and stop those responsible for the viral outbreak. The game is scheduled to launch this fall.

Resident Evil 6

Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 delivers an epic and dramatic horror experience. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are joined by series newcomers to face a global level threat: the highly virulent C-virus.

Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on October 29th.
