Asmodee Digital and Fantasy Flight Interactive have confirmed that The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game’s Nintendo Switch release has been delayed.
After it was scheduled to launch on August 8th, the release date was pushed back to August 29th. Now, we’re back to a generic “Autumn 2019.”
Taking inspiration from the Fantasy Flight Living Card Game The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, the game adapts the strategic gameplay to create an “all-new, never-before-seen experience.”
You will construct your deck before facing the Dark Forces of Sauron, either alone in Single Player or teaming up with a friend in the Cooperative Multiplayer mode.
That will see you battle spiders, orcs, Ringwraiths, and other menacing enemies as you journey through Middle-earth – whether that be the dark forests of Mirkwood, braving the flames of Mordor, or plumbing the depths of Moria.
The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Autumn 2019.
