Hideo Kojima has revealed that Death Stranding‘s Bridge Baby can be heard through the special DualShock 4 controller included in the game’s limited edition PlayStation 4 bundle. Sadly, there isn’t actually a model BB included inside the pad — which is coloured in the same style as the fluid contained within the babies’ jars — but it’s still a cool (and slightly disturbing) addition.
Death Stranding BB Can Be Heard Via DualShock 4 Pad
Kojima’s Tweet seems to imply that only the special Death Stranding-branded DS4 pad will support this feature, although obviously the pad has used its built-in speaker for numerous games in the past. His Tweet also confirms that the feature is able to be toggled on/off.
Death Stranding is slated for release on PlayStation 4 on November 8, with Kojima confirming last week that the game had reached gold status. Furthermore, you won’t need a subscription to PlayStation Plus to enjoy the Death Stranding multiplayer mode.
In related news, Kojima said that he’d like to work with Keanu Reeves at some point in the future, despite choosing Mads Mikkelsen over the John Wick star for a part in Death Stranding.
In addition, the Kojima Productions head has revealed that it’s possible we may get a Death Stranding 2 in order to establish the Strand genre.
