Do you know how to use the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint binoculars? If not, then you’re not alone – it seems most people don’t know either. In fact, it’s one of the biggest queries people have following the release of the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Open Beta, which went live yesterday afternoon after some initial technical hiccups.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Binoculars – How To Equip & Use Them
Binoculars are obviously a very important tool in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, as they allow you to scope out your surroundings and plan your attack and or/next move. However, unlike some games, it’s not as simple as clicking a button and bringing them up; you’ll have to assign them to the correct slot before using them.
Oddly enough though, the binoculars actually belong in one of the Consumables slots, located at the bottom left corner of the menu. It’s not the most obvious place, seeing as how this is usually reserved for items such as syringes, rations, and a water canteen — consumables, in other words. But yes, your binoculars must be put here, too.
Once you have put them in one of the Consumable slots, you can equip them by holding down R1 and bringing up the item wheel and then hit L1 to use them. Congrats, you’re good to go!
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 4. If you’re playing solo, keep in mind that AI teammates will not be featured in the game for launch.
