Stardew Valley ‘No Free Slots On Server’ Error fixes

Stardew Valley Update 1.4

Fans should be excited now that the PS4 Stardew Valley multiplayer update has finally hit the home console. However, getting into games with other players requires a bit of specific setup on the part of the host. If not, you’ll be greeted with a “No free slots on server” error.

Unfortunately, getting a friend into your game isn’t completely plug-and-play. So, in order to get friends to join your game, you can do one of two things:

  • Create extra cabins for additional players
  • Ask Robin to build new cabin

Of course, you are not locked out of adding people to your game if you forget to add cabins to your world. However, getting Robin to build a cabin for you requires a lot of money and quite a few resources, especially so early in the game. So, the easiest way is to create extra cabins for additional players while setting up the match. While establishing the session, you can have up to three extra cabins created in your world. This allows each person to live together, with each person having their own unique space to farm and build.

Finally, we can jump into the world of Stardew Valley with a friend! Heck, you can even marry them in-game, if you want!

On the other hand, if you end up having someone join you somewhere down the line, then you would have to build a new cabin on your property. That takes some time, of course, but the payoff could be more beneficial for everyone involved. This kind of setup allows you and your friend(s) to allocate all resources into one source rather than dividing them across multiple properties.

We cannot tell you how excited we are to finally have the Stardew Valley multiplayer update on PS4!
